A sealed cover with shaft extending through the cover, especially for the crankshaft housing of a motor vehicle engine or gear housing consists of a pot-shaped drawn sheet metal body with axially stepped cross-sectional profile on the inside circumference in such a way that three radial surfaces are generated, one of which accommodates the dynamically stressed shaft seal and the second the statically stressed flange seal, whilst the third forms the flange which can be connected to the crankshaft housing or gear housing. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Verschlußdeckel mit sich durch den Deckel erstreckender Welle, insbesondere für das Kurbelwellengehäuse eines Kraftfahrzeugmotors oder Getriebes, besteht aus einen topfförmig gezogenen Blechkörper mit am Innenumfang axial abgestuftem Querschnittsprofil, so daß drei Radialflächen entstehen, wovon eine die dynamisch beanspruchte Wellenabdichtung und die zweite die statisch beanspruchte Flanschabdichtung aufnimmt, während die dritte den mit dem Kurbelwellen- oder Getriebegehäuse verbindbaren Flansch bildet.
