Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0264561A2] An adjustable table (T1) of this type is mounted on a fixed base member (G1) by means of three identical adjusting elements (V1) which are arranged in rotational symmetry to the centre of the adjustable table (T1), at the periphery thereof. The adjusting element (V1) consists of a threaded bolt (GB1) in a threaded bore (BB1) of the adjustable table (T1) and of a supporting element (SE1) which rests in a freely displaceable manner on the surface (OG1) of the fixed base member (G1). The threaded bolt (GB1) has a convex spherical surface (FV1) at one end which engages in a concave spherical surface (FS1) of the supporting element (SE1); the other end of the threaded bolt (GB1) possesses a slot (S) for the engagement of an adjusting tool to adjust the distance and/or the angular position of the adjustable table (T1) relative to the fixed base member (G1). To increase rigidity, a tension spring (Z) is assigned to each adjusting element (V1) between the adjustable table (T1) and the fixed base member (G1). To avoid de- centring and twisting during adjustment of the adjustable table (T1), a strut (ST1) with two flexural joints (BG1) is fixed to the adjustable table (T1) and to the fixed base member (G1) by its two ends between each pair of the three adjusting elements (V1). <IMAGE>
