Abstract (en)
The universal brush has an elongate brush housing (1) which consists of two horizontally divided housing parts (2, 3). The bristles of the universal brush are constructed in the form of a continuous strip (5) of bristles and are attached inside the brush housing on a holder (7). The strip (5) of bristles emerges from the brush housing (1) along the longitudinal axis of an elongate suction slot (10). In the operating position of the universal brush, the strip (5) of bristles is bent counter to the advancing direction of the brush in such a way that it rests against the associated edge of the suction slot (10) so that a wide suction cross-section is opened directly above the area of dirt. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Universalbürste hat ein längliches Bürstengehäuse (1), das aus zwei horizontal geteilten Gehäuseteilen (2, 3) besteht. Die Borsten der Universalbürste sind in Form einer durchgehenden Borstenleiste (5) ausgebildet und innerhalb des Bürstengehäuses an einem Halter (7) befestigt. Die Borstenleiste (5) tritt entlang der Längsachse eines langgstreckten Saugschlitzes (10) aus dem Bürstengehäuse (1) aus. In Arbeitsstellung der Universalbürste wird die Borstenleiste (5) so entgegen der Vorschubrichtung der Bürsten gebogen, daß sie an der zugehörigen Randkante des Saugschlitzes (10) anliegt, so daß direkt oberhalb des Schmutzbereichs ein breiter Saugquerschnitt geöffnet ist.
