[origin: EP0264664A2] Stop device, particularly for skis, comprising two arms (3a,3b) each arranged at rest at one side of a ski (2) and each having at one end a stop skid (4a,4b) interacting with the snow; the device includes a main plate (8) associable with the ski (2) and a box-like element (12) associable with an end (10) of said main plate (8); there being provided a first transverse seat (14a,14b,15,16)for a pivot (17) for the pivoting of a small control plate (18) and of a spring (19) interposed between the main plate (8) and the control plate (18), a second inclined seat (26) housing an intermediate portion (6a,6b) of the arms (3a,3b); the end (5a,5b) of each of the arms (3a,3b) being interposed between the control plate (18) and the spring (19), the spring (19) imparting to the arms (3a,3b) and to the small control plate (18) a rotation which places the skids (4a,4b) in contact with the snow.
