A thermoplastic resin compsn. contains (a) 1-98 pts. of a polyolefin; (b) 1-49 pts. of a polyolefin modified with an unsatd. carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid deriv.; (c) 1-98 pts. of a polyamide; (the sum of (a)+(b)+(c) being 100 pts.); (d) 5-50 pts. of a modified ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer obtd. by reacting a low-crystallinity ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with an unsatd. carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid deriv.; (e) 0.5-5 moles (per mole of the carboxylic acid or deriv. in (b) and (d)) of a metal cpd. (e.g. a hydroxide, carbonate or oxide of Li, Na, K, Cs, Mg, Ba or Zn).

On prépare la composition ci-décrite en mélangeant un mélange de (A) 1 à 98 parties en poids d'une polyoléfine, (B) 1 à 49 parties en poids d'une polyoléfine modifiée avec un acide carboxylique insaturé ou son dérivé, et (C) 1 à 98 parties en poids d'un polyamide (à condition que la somme totale de (A), (B) et (C) soit égale à 100 parties en poids), avec (D) 5 à 50 parties en poids d'un copolymère modifié d'éthylène-alpha-oléfine préparé par réaction d'un copolymère d'éthylène-alpha-oléfine faiblement cristallin avec un acide carboxylique insaturé ou son dérivé, et (E) 0,5 à 5 moles d'un composé métallique par mole d'acide utilisé pour les constituants (B) et (D). Cette composition de résine thermoplastique est de préférence utilisée pour fabriquer des produits présentant une résistance au choc et un éclat de surface excellents.
