Die Begrenzungen (4,7) werden durch Messung der Kraft, die die Fasern auf eine rotierende Walze (F1,F2) ausüben, festgestellt. Die Ergebnisse werden an eine speicherprogrammierbare Steuerung weitergeleitet.
