Abstract (en)
The starting fabric consists exclusively of yarns consisting of a large number of continuous filaments - at least 50 - which have a low twist, lower than 250 revolutions per metre. The fibrous surface state is obtained by needling, preferably at a rate of a number of needle strokes per square centimetre of between 30 and 100 and with a needle penetration of between 7 and 12 millimetres. The face with a fibrous appearance is intended to be coated. The coated fabric has very good adhesiveness.

Le tissu de départ est composé exclusivement de fils constitués d'un nombre élevé de filaments continus - au moins 50 - ayant une torsion faible, inférieure à 250 tours au mètre. L'état de surface fibreux est obtenu par aiguilletage, de préférence à raison d'un nombre de coups d'aiguille au centimètre carré compris entre 30 et 100 et avec une pénétration des aiguilles comprise entre 7 et 12 millimètres. La face à aspect fibreux est destinée à être enduit. Le tissu enduit présente une très bonne adhérence.
