[origin: US4830224A] An operating safety and tamper-proofing device for a spray, the spray being of the type comprising a valve (2) for mounting on a receptacle such as a can, an axial ejection elongate spray head (4) such as a nasal spray with actuator means of the type including two diametrically opposite wings (6) on either side of the spray head for receiving fingers, a protective cap (7), and a sleeve (3) surrounding the valve for determining, together with the spray head and/or the finger-receiving wings, safety means for preventing the spray from operating depending on the angular position of the spray head and/or the finger-receiving wings relative to the sleeve, wherein the finger-receiving wings constitute a part which is independent from the spray head and which is preferably engaged thereon by wedging.

Dispositif de sécurité pour la mise en fonctionnement et la garantie d'inviolabilité d'un vaporisateur, du type comprenant une valve (2) pour être monté sur un récipient tel qu'un bidon, un embout de pulvérisateur allongé (4) à expulsion axiale (tel qu'un pulvérisateur nasal) avec des moyens d'actionnement du type comprenant deux ailes d'appui diamétralement opposées par rapport à l'embout et formant repose-doigts (6), un capuchon de protection (7) et une douille (3) entourant la valve pour déterminer avec l'embout et/ou le repose-doigts des moyens de sécurité pour empêcher le vapourisateur de fonctionner selon la position angulaire de l'embout et/ou du repose-doigts par rapport à la douille, caractérisé en ce que le repose-doigts constitue une pièce indépendante de l'embout, sur lequel il peut être engagé de préférence avec coincement.
