Abstract (en)
The device consists of stationary reserve weft bobbins (15) and two lances (5) and (7) moving by oscillations from both sides of the cloth and penetrating the shed at roughly the same distance. When the lances have advanced to about the middle of the shed, the weft (54) is sent in the form of a single or multiple thread by a head, usually known as the input head (6), mounted at the end of the lance (5) to the corresponding head, usually known as the output head (8), of the other lance (7). The heads consist of small prongs (24) and (25) gripping the weft thread, and are actuated positively by mechanisms inside the head so as to grip and then release the weft thread. <IMAGE>

Dispositif pour l'insertion du fil de trame, utilisable sur les métiers à tisser sans navette, comportant des bobines de réserve de fil de trame (15), montées à poste fixe ainsi que deux lances (5) et (7) se déplaçant par oscillations à partir des deux côtés du tissu et pénétrant sensiblement à la même distance dans la foule, la trame (54) lorsque les lances sont avancées aux environs du milieu de la foule étant transmise sous forme de fil simple ou multiple par une tête appelée communément "tête d'entrée" (6) montée à l'extrémité de la lance (5), à la tête correspondante appelée communément "tête de sortie" (8) de l'autre lance (7), ces têtes comportant des branchettes (24) et (25) pinçant le fil de trame et qui sont actionnées positivement par des mécanismes situés à l'intérieur de la tête en vue de saisir puis de libérer le fil de trame
