Such a pressure equalizing system is arranged in the spacer (5) of the multi-pane system (6, 7), comprising a first hollow element (1) which is closed on one side towards the pane gap (10) and in which a second, inner hollow element (2) which is open on both sides and consists of a material having a higher softening temperature than that of the first hollow element (1) is inserted, the hollow element (1) having a widened portion (9) serving as a stop at its end facing the outside of the multi-pane glazing and the hollow element (1) being sealed off with respect to the spacer (5) by means of a seal (4) (water vapour diffusion barrier).

Ein derartiges Druckausgleichssystem ist im Abstandshalter (5) des Mehrscheibensystems (6, 7) angeordnet, enthaltend einen ersten, zum Scheibenzwischenraum (10) hin einseitig geschlossenen Hohlkörper (1), in welchen ein zweiter, beidseitig geöffneter innerer Hohlkörper (2) aus einem Material mit höherer Erweichungstemperatur als der des ersten Hohlkörpers (1) eingesetzt ist, wobei der Hohlkörper (1) an seinem, der Außenseite der Mehrscheibenverglasung zugewandten Ende eine als Anschlag dienende Verbreiterung (9) aufweist und der Hohlkörper (1) durch eine Dichtung (4) (Wasserdampfdiffusionssperre) gegen den Abstandshalter (5) abgedichtet ist.
