[origin: EP0266622A2] In a process for the manufacture of cylindrical printing plates for screen printing, the stencil material is applied to a screen and removed from points destined for printing with the aid of a laser. In order that the printing plate may guarantee a perfect and high-quality graphic, the stencil material applied is a solid-form plastic which is secured to the screen by heat treatment or by adhesive bonding.
