Abstract (en)
The letter box consists of a fixed chassis and a pivoted flap (1). The device comprises a locking plate (3) pivoted about an axis (20) which is vertical or horizontal and which is parallel to the plane of the flap. The plate is so arranged that it is made to rotate under the action of a control device (6). The system consisting of the control device and the locking plate is mounted on the fixed chassis of the letter box and engages with the pivoted flap (1). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un nouveau dispositif de fermeture de boîte à lettres comportant un châssis fixe et une porte montée pivotante (1) dispositif comprenant une feuillure de verrouillage (3) montée pivotante autour d'un axe (20) vertical ou horizontal et parallèle au plan de la porte et agencée pour être entraînée en rotation sous l'action d'un organe de manoeuvre (6). Dans le dispositif de l'invention, l'ensemble constitué par l'organe de manoeuvre et la feuillure de verrouillage est monté sur la châssis fixe de la boîte et coopère avec la porte pivotante (1).
