[origin: WO8706997A1] A light primarily intended for use for a vehicle such as a bicycle, including a reflector (2) which provides a beam of reflected light from a source (1). The beam has gaps, such as gaps (41), in its profile. The reflector (2) is used in combination with a front lens (3) provided with diverting means (6) to spread incident direct light to the far field at angles beyond those where the reflector (2) cuts off direct light.
