The wall (29) of the friction-spinning means (28) has bores (30) of a diameter L and, on its side facing a fibre feed channel, a coating (34) which extends over and beyond the edges (31) into the bores (30). A hole (37) is thereby formed at the mouth (32) and has a diameter J smaller than the bored diameter L and an area of less than 0.283 mm<2>, but at least 0.07 mm<2>. This as far as possible prevents fibres or fibre particles from penetrating into the hole (37) when air flows through the holes (37) in the direction of the arrow (M), whilst at the same time preserving a hole shape advantageous in terms of flow and clogging. <IMAGE>

Die Wand (29) des Friktionsspinnmittels (28) besitzt Bohrungen (30) mit einem Durchmesser L und auf ihrer einem Faserförderkanal zugewandten Seite eine Beschichtung (34), die sich über die Kanten (31) in die Bohrungen (30) hineinerstreckt. Dadurch ist an der Einmündung (32) ein Loch (37) mit einem Durchmesser J gebildet, der kleiner ist als der gebohrte Durchmesser L und eine Fläche von weniger als 0,283 mm2, jedoch mindestens von 0,07 mm2 aufweist. Dadurch wird das Eindringen von Fasern oder Faserteilen in das Loch (37) möglichst verhindert, wenn Luft durch die Löcher (37) in Richtung von Pfeil (M) strömt, unter Beibehaltung einer strömungstechnischen und verstopfungsmässigen günstigen Lochform
