Abstract (en)
A waterbed (11) having peripheral resilient cushions for supporting its perimeter, said cushions being retained in position by means of a plurality of slings (23,25,27,29) formed by inward extensions secured to the liner at a distance away from the vertical projection of the cushion itself such that when a water bag (13) is inserted within the liner (15) and the cushions, the weight of the water tends to compress the sides of the slings together thereby applying inward force on the cushions to somewhat counteract the outward force of the water itself.
