[origin: EP0268308A2] The sign has a housing 210 containing fluorescent tubes and having a front cover 205 hinged at 307 and secured by screws 309. A translucent sign sheet 222 is stretched across the opening of the frame 240 of the cover by tightening screws 262. Bracing members for withstanding the tension of the sheet 222 comprise inclined bracing elements 311 sliding into recesses 256 of the frame and bolted at their opposite ends to a vertical tubular bracing element 316.
