1. A device for protecting a shaped cylinder (3) for a door lock, this cylinder (3) comprising a head (5) intended to project on the external side (9) of the door (1) over a length (11, 12, 13) which can vary, in particular according to the length of the cylinder (3), the thickness of the door (1), or the position of the cylinder (3) in relation to the door (1), this protective device comprising : - an external escutcheon (7), intended to be kept applied with a contact face (8) to as least one zone of the external side (9) of the door (1), which extends opposite the lock (2) and around the head (5) of the cylinder (3), this escutcheon (7) being traversed by an opening (10) which issues in the external face (11) of the said escutcheon (7) ; - a protective element (29, 129) for the cylinder (3) comprising a tubular body (30, 130_a) intended to surround the head (5) of the cylinder (3) and to be engaged with slight clearance in the opening (10) of the escutcheon (7), the tubular body (30, 130_a) being partly closed, at its axial end intended to project outside the escutcheon (7), by a radial disc (31) pierced by an opening (32) limiting the access towards the opening for insertion of the key, this protective element (29, 129) being slidably mounted in the said escutcheon (7), characterized in that provision is made for elastic means (40, 44) between the escutcheon (7) and the protective element (29, 129) these elastic means having the tendency to restore the protective element (29, 129) towards the door (1), the assembly being such that the sliding permitted by the elastic means (40, 44) between the protective element (29, 129) and the escutcheon (7) makes it possible to absorb variations in the projection of the head (5) of the cylinder (3) in relation to the (door 1).

Ce dispositif permet de protéger un cylindre profilé (3) d'une serrure, la tête (5) du cylindre faisant saillie sur la face externe (9) de la porte (1) suivant une longueur l1 qui peut varier. Il comprend une contre-plaque extérieure (7) fixée contre la porte (1) et comportant un orifice (10) qui contient un organe de protection (129) du cylindre (3) monté coulissant dans la contre-plaque (7). Selon l'invention, des moyens élastiques (44) sont prévus entre la contre-plaque (7) et l'organe (129), ces moyens (44) ayant tendance à rappeler l'organe (129) vers la porte (1), l'ensemble étant tel que le coulissement autorisé par les moyens (44) entre l'organe (129) et la contre-plaque (7) permet d'absorber des variation de saillie de la tête (5) du cylindre (3) par rapport à la porte (1).
