This die possesses in the first place a guiding bar (23, 28) composed of two longitudinal sections, a front section (23) of a specified guiding cross-section and a rear section (28) of a guiding cross-section greater than that of the front section. A moveable component (27) is articulated on the rear section (28) so as to be able to orient along a closed position where it forms, together with the front section (27), an assembly of the same cross-section as the rear section (28) and along an open position where it is clear of the front section (27). In addition, a yoke (22) of cross-section greater than that of the guiding bar (23, 28) is adapted in order to slide longitudinally over this bar between a forward position where it overlaps this bar over a specified length from the front end of the latter and a back position where it is clear of this bar over a specified guiding length. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne une matrice pour le guidage et le positionnement d'un profilé, en vue du poinçonnage de ce profilé par un outil, notamment de presse. Cette matrice possède en premier lieu une barre de guidage (23, 28) composée de deux tronçons longitudinaux, un tronçon avant (23) de section de guidage déterminée et un tronçon arrière (28) de section de guidage supérieure à celle du tronçon avant. Un organe mobile (27) est articulé sur le tronçon arrière (28) de façon à pouvoir être orienté selon une position fermée où il forme avec le tronçon avant (27) un ensemble de même section que le tronçon arrière (28) et selon une position ouverte où il dégage le tronçon avant (27). De plus, un étrier (22) de section supérieure à la barre de guidage (23, 28) est adapté pour coulisser longitudinalement sur cette barre entre une position avancée où il chevauche cette barre sur une longueur déterminée à partir de l'extrémité avant de celle-ci et une position reculée où il dégage cette barre sur une longueur de guidage déterminée.
