Closure (1) for an hydraulic piston-cylinder unit, in particular for one such for operation of a lift, with a cylinder head (3) mounted on the upper end (5) of a cylinder tube (2) and a guide bushing (11) fitted therein for the sealing and guiding of a piston (13) as well as a connection for an hydraulic pressure medium which is removable from a storage container with drive, characterised thereby, that the cylinder head (3) at its lower end (6) and the cylinder tube (2) at its upper end (5) are each co-axially and undetachably connected with the other and that the guide bushing (11) is shape-lockingly and detachably fitted into the cylinder head (3) in that it comes to bear in radial direction by its resting contact surface (34) against an inward wall (23) of the cylinder head (3) in the axially guiding seat (22) and is fixed in axial direction in the cylinder head (3) between metal discs (28), which are guided in an annular groove (27) of the cylinder head (3), are introduceable into the groove by way of a milled recess (31) and come to bear against an annular upper bushing bearing surface (25), as well as an annular abutment (26) coming to bear against an annular lower bushing bearing surface (24).
