Abstract (en)
The fuel injection arrangement has an injection valve (5) which encloses a nozzle body (6 to 9) located in a through-hole in a cylinder cover (1). The head (9) of this nozzle body extends into a combustion chamber (4) and has at least one nozzle aperture (21), which serves to form a jet of fuel directed into the combustion chamber (4). The nozzle body (9) is composed of a titanium-based alloy, which, apart from impurities stemming from the production process, contains 2 to 10% aluminium, 0 to 55% niobium, 0 to 10% zirconium, 0 to 6% molybdenum, 0 to 1% silicon and 0 to 10% tantalum.

Die Brennstoffeinspritzanordnung weist ein Einspritzventil (5) auf, das einen in einer Durchtrittsöffnung eines Zylinderdeckels (1) angeordneten Düsenkörper (6 bis 9) umfasst. Der Kopfteil (9) dieses Düsenkörpers ragt in einen Brennraum (4) und hat mindestens eine Düsenöffnung (21), die zum Bilden eines in den Brennraum (4) gerichteten Brennstoffstrahls dient. Der Düsenkopf (9) besteht aus einer Titanbasislegierung, die ausser herstellungsbedingten Verunreinigungen 2 bis 10 % Aluminium, 0 bis 55 % Niob, 0 bis 10 % Zirkonium, 0 bis 6 % Molybdän, 0 bis 1 % Silizium und 0 bis 10 % Tantal enthält.
