Abstract (en)
The cable comprises at least one conductor (1), a tape layer (3) and an insulating layer (2) made of a polymer containing no halogen or sulphur and filled with an inorganic material in a quantity sufficient to raise its limiting oxygen index. The insulating layer (2) made of a polymer containing no halogen or sulphur is the closest to the conductor, the polymer is a polyolefin or a polyamide and the taped outer layer (3) is formed from a metal tape, glass cloth, polyimide, polyamidimide or aromatic polyamide covered on its inner surface with an acrylic adhesive, which is flame-resistant or not. <IMAGE>

Câble électrique ignifugé comportant au moins un conducteur (1), une couche rubanée (3) et une couche isolante (2) en polymère exempt d'halogène et de soufre et chargé d'un matériau minéral en quantité suffisante pour relever son indice d'oxygène limite. La couche isolante (2) en polymère exempt d'halogène et de soufre est la plus proche du conducteur, le polymère est une polyoléfine ou un polyamide, et la couche externe rubanée (3) est formée à partir d'un ruban métallique, de tissu de verre, de polyimide, de polyamidimide ou de polyamide aromatique, recouvert sur sa face interne d'un adhésif acrylique, ignifugé ou non.
