Abstract (en)
In order to improve an overvoltage protection apparatus having a protected mains connection, the phase and neutral conductors of the mains connection circuit being electrically connected in each case via a varistor to the earth conductor, and having a protected connection of a second circuit, e.g. for radio, television and video units, computers and the like, the earth conductor of the second circuit being connected, e.g. via a connection spark gap, to the earth conductor of the mains connection circuit, such that manufacture and storage can be simplified, it is proposed that the mains connection circuit and the second circuit are in each case combined into an assembly unit having a dedicated carrier (3, 4) and are designed such that they can be joined onto a common supporting part (1), which unit has the common connection spark gap (8) and its electrical conductors (13) to the connecting contacts of the mains connection circuit and of the second circuit. <IMAGE>

Um ein Überspannungsschutzgerät mit geschütztem Netzanschluß, wobei der Phasen- und der Nullleiter des Netzanschlußkreises über je einen Varistor mit dem Schutzleiter elektrisch verbunden sind und mit einem geschützten Anschluß eines zweiten Stromkreises, z.B. für Rundfunk-, Fernseh-, und Videogeräte, Computer und dergleichen, wobei der Schutzleiter des zweiten Stromkreises, z.B. über eine Koppelfunkenstrecke an den Schutzleiter des Netzanschlußkreises gelegt ist, derart zu verbessern, daß eine Vereinfachung der Herstellung und der Lagerhaltung erreichbar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Netzanschlußkreis und der zweite Stromkreis jeweils zu einer einen eigenen Träger (3,4) aufweisenden Montageeinheit zusammengefaßt und an ein gemeinsames Tragteil (1) anfügbar ausgebildet sind, welche die gemeinsame Koppelfunkenstrecke (8) sowie deren elektrischen Leitungen (13) zu den Anschlußkontakten des Netzanschlußkreises bzw. des zweiten Stromkreises aufweist.
