Moteur à explosion sans embiellage ni vilebrequin dont les cylindres sont disposés en étoile, les axes de ces cylindres étant situés dans un plan perpendiculaire à l'arbre moteur (1), la transmission du mouvement alternatif des pistons (8) s'effectuant par des galets solidaires de ces pistons et roulant sur des cames solidaires de l'arbre moteur, caractérisé en ce que la transmission du mouvement des pistons s'effectue par l'intermédiaire d'au moins trois cames (2,3,4), une came centrale (2) tournant dans un sens, et deux cames latérales (3,4) tournant à la même vitesse mais en sens inverse, les trois cames étant positionnées de façon à ce que les sommets des bossages (12) qu'elles comportent soient dans le plan de l'axe de l'arbre moteur.
