The draw-straightening arm comprising a beam (1) called "horizontal beam" mounted with an ability to pivot about a vertical axis (24), by way of one of its end portions, and on the end portion opposite which is mounted a pivoting arm called "vertical arm" (9) connected to the said beam by way of a cylinder (16), characterised in that it comprises a positioning hoop (26) in the shape of an arc of a circle having a diameter (D) of size greater than the width (L) of the surface plate (32) on which the said draw-straightening arm is mounted or intended to be installed, this positioning hoop (26) preferably having a length of the order of 180 degrees and being arranged around the said pivoting axis of the beam which is equipped with a locking means (27) enabling it to be locked on any point of the hoop. <IMAGE>

Equerre pour le redressage des carrosseries ou autres parties endommagées de véhicules automobiles comportant une poutre (1) dite "poutre horizontale" montée avec une aptitude de pivotement autour d'un axe vertical (24), par l'intermédiaire de l'une de ses portions extrêmes, et sur la portion extrême opposée de laquelle est monté un bras pivotant dit "bras vertical" (9) relié à ladite poutre par l'intermédiaire d'un vérin (16), caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un arceau de positionnement (26) en forme d'arc de cercle ayant un diamètre (D) de dimension supérieure à la largeur (L) du marbre (32) sur lequel ladite équerre de redressage est montée ou destinée à être installée, cet arceau de positionnement (26) ayant, de préférence, une longueur de l'ordre de 180 degrés, et étant disposé autour dudit axe de pivotement de la poutre laquelle est équipée d'un moyen de blocage (27) permettant de la verrouiller sur un point quelconque dudit arceau.
