[origin: WO8705982A1] Air duct for air distribution systems, for instance a ventilation duct, which is assembled by a plurality of elongated duct sections (1) of incombustible material. Each duct section includes an elongated duct section (5, 6) with an opening (29) which is oriented parallelly along the longitudinal axis of the duct element, and which has the same length as the duct section, the opening being closable by means of a lid (12), which is sealingly connected to the duct section, and which extends along the entire length of the duct element. The lid (12) is connected to the duct element (5, 6) by means of a movable connection having a joint made from an incombustible or meltable material, which is dimensioned to burst or melt as a result of a fire, so that the lid by its own weight can swing out from the duct section (5, 6) when the joint busts as a result of said fire, so that the duct will open and release the pressure therein.

Un conduit d'air pour systèmes de distribution d'air, tel qu'un conduit de ventilation, est constitué de plusieurs sections de conduit allongées (1) en matériau incombustible. Chaque section du conduit comprend une section de conduit allongée (5, 6) munie d'une ouverture (29), qui est orientée parallèlement le long de l'axe longitudinal de l'élément du conduit et qui a la même longueur que la section du conduit, ladite ouverture pouvant être fermée au moyen d'un couvercle (12), qui est reliée de façon étanche à la section du conduit et qui s'étend sur toute la longueur de l'élément du conduit. Le couvercle (12) est relié à l'élément de conduit (5, 6) au moyen d'une connexion mobile pourvue d'un joint en matériau incombustible ou fusible conçu pour éclater ou fondre à la suite d'un incendie, de telle sorte que le couvercle puisse basculer sous l'effet de son propre poids loin de la section de conduit (5, 6), lors de l'éclatement du joint à la suite d'un incendie, ce qui permet alors au conduit de s'ouvrir et de libérer la pression.
