[origin: WO8707661A1] The ironing press comprises a heating plate (6) integral with an arm (5) which may be applied against an ironing board (22). The latter is mounted on a support (28) displaceable along ramps (30) to be presented in a lowered position thereby enabling the raising of a sleeve-board (37) mounted on arms (38 and 39) to bring it substantially to the same level as the plate (22) was previously. A control button (41) makes it possible to lock as desired the sleeve-board (37) or the plate (22) in a working position or to release them both to interchange their positions.
