The shower partition (1) is designed in the form of a folding door having two swivel parts (3 and 4) made of glass. Arranged above the swivel parts (3 and 4) is a rail (8) and the second swivel part (4) is hooked onto said rail by means of at least one holding element (9) in order to relocate some of the weight forces from the swivel hinges and bearings (2 and 7) onto the rail (8). The holding element (9) is displaceable relative to the rail (8) and rotatable with its anchoring element (10) acting on the swivel part (4). In this case, in the open position of the folding door, the second swivel part (4) can preferably project in relation to the first swivel part (3) such that, when the folding door is open, there is a clearance from the second swivel part (4) in the region of the bearing (2) of the first swivel part (3), in which clearance a handle (14) can be accommodated without impairing the openability. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Trennwand (1) für Duschen ist in Form einer Falttüre mit zwei Schwenkteilen (3 und 4) gestaltet. Dabei bestehen die beiden Schwenkteile (3 und 4) jeweils aus Glas. Oberhalb der Schwenkteile (3 und 4) ist eine Schiene (8) angeordnet und der zweite Schwenkteil (4) ist daran mittels wenigstens eines Halteelementes (9) aufgehängt, um einen Teil der Gewichtskräfte von den Schwenkscharnieren und Lagern (2 und 7) auf die Schiene (8) zu verlagern. Das Halteelement (9) ist relativ zu der Schiene (8) verschiebbar und mit seinem an dem Schwenkteil (4) angreifenden Verankerungselement (1o) drehbar. Bevorzugt kann dabei der zweite Schwenkteil (4) in Offenstallung der Falttüre gegenüber dem ersten Schwenkteil (3) einen Überstand haben, so daß sich bei offener Falttüre im Bereich der Lagerung (2) des ersten Schwenkteiles (3) ein Abstand zu dem zweiten Schwenkteil (4) ergibt, in welchem ein Handgriff (14) untergebracht werden kann, ohne die Öffenbarkeit zu beeinträchtigen.
