Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0271049A1] 1. Insulating board made from rigid expanded plastic, which is adapted in its width to a corrugated asbestos cement sheet (30, 30') and which has on one side a corresponding corrugated surface, where the corrugated crests and troughs run perpendicular to the width, where the border areas (28', 29) which are parallel to the corrugated crests and troughs finish as a border corrugated crest and a border corrugated trough, where the leading edges of these border areas (28', 29) are foldshaped and where the border corrugated crest of the one border area is reduced in width along its exterior edge, characterised by the fact, that the leading edge (19) of the one border area has a connecting groove (17) and that the leading edge (20') of the other border area has a correspondingly aligned and matched connecting link (18'), that the connecting depth between the connecting groove (17) and the connecting link (18') is bigger than the difference between the maximum and minimum distance between neighbouring corrugated crests (11, 11') or neighbouring corrugated troughs (12, 12') in the overlapping area of the overlaid corrugated asbestos cement sheeting (30, 30') and that at least the part of the leading edge of one or the other border areas outside of the connecting groove (17) or connecting link (18') is connected via a strip (21) made from expanded plastic foam, the width of which is bigger than the connecting depth between the connecting groove (17) and the connecting link (18').
