[origin: US4784692A] The color-developing agent for pressure-sensitive recording sheet comprises a reaction product of carboxylated terpenephenol resin, aromatic carboxylic acid and polyvalent metal compound. The color-developing sheet containing the above color-developing agent provides an excellent color-developing rate and an improved light fastness.

Es wird ein Farbentwicklungsmittel für druckempfindliche Aufzeichnungsblätter beschrieben, das ein Reaktionsprodukt aus einem carboxylierten Terpenphenolharz, einer aromatischen Carbonsäure und einer Verbindung eines mehrwertigen Metalls enthält. Das Farbentwicklungsblatt, das dieses Farbentwicklungsmittel enthält, weist sowohl eine überlegene Farbentwicklungsgeschwindigkeit, als auch eine verbesserte Lichtechtheit auf, unter Beibehaltung einer überlegenen Beständigkeit gegenüber Licht, Gasen usw. und der Chemikalienbeständigkeit des Bildes.
