The invention concerns a solid-fuel, inverted-draught boiler comprising a water jacket (19) to be heated and a storage area (1) of the fuel, which is arranged above a combustion chamber (6) from which it is separated by a plate (4) provided with at least one passage (5) for communication between the storage area and the said combustion chamber, while the latter is partially surrounded by the water jacket (19) and communicates with a smoke box. This boiler is especially noteworthy in that the passage (5) of the plate (4) is extended by a muff (9) which emerges into the upper part of the combustion chamber (6) in which an ash pan (7) is provided. <IMAGE>

Chaudière à combustible solide et plus particulièrement, chaudière à bois. L'invention concerne une chaudière à combustible solide et à tirage inversé comportant une chemise d'eau (19) à chauffer et une zone de stockage (1) du combustible, qui est disposée au-dessus d'une chambre (6) de combustion dont elle est séparée par une sole (4) munie d'au moins un passage (5) de communication entre la zone de stockage et ladite chambre de combustion, tandis que cette dernière est en partie entourée par la chemise d'eau (19) et communique avec une boîte à fumée. Cette chaudière est remarquable notamment en ce que le passage (5) de la sole (4) est prolongé par une manchette (9) qui débouche dans la partie supérieure de la chambre de combustion (6) dans laquelle est aménagé un cendrier (7).
