Method for assembling the constitutive elements of an internal-combustion engine exhaust line and anti-wheel-tilt bars; it consists, in particular, in positioning them accurately in space, while assimilating the straight tubular sections thereof with respect to vectors in order to be able to support them on adjustable V-shaped assembly supports (S) whose adjustment and positioning parameters are calculated by means of software and of a so-called "vehicle reference frame" mark. <IMAGE>

Procédé pour l'assemblage des éléments constitutifs d'une ligne d'échappement de moteur à combustion interne et de barres anti-devers; suivant l'invention, il consiste notamment à les positionner avec précision dans l'espace en assimilant les sections rectilignes tubulaires de celle-ci à des vecteurs pour pouvoir les appuyer sur des supports réglables d'assemblage (S) en vé dont les paramètres de réglage et de positionnement sont calculés par l'intermédiaire d'un logiciel et d'un repère dit "référentiel véhicule".
