[origin: EP0271651A2] The device consists of a support frame with an essentially upright rear wall (3), formed from several guide rails (6) lying one above the other and extending horizontally, and a multiplicity of support arms (7) which can be hooked by means of slide shoes (8) into the guide rails (6) at any desired point and have shelves (15, 16) for packages on both sides of a web (14) projecting vertically from the rear wall (3) in the hooked-in position. The shelves can be placed between the webs (14) of two support arms (7) in each case. The device has the advantage that, instead of fixed decks, individual support arms are provided, on which the packages rest with their bottom corners only. Due to the multiplicity of the hooking-in possibilities for support arms, the device can receive packages of different shapes and sizes on top of one another and next to one another in a freely selectable, space-saving arrangement, the packages being secured against lateral slipping. <IMAGE>
