Insulating housing (10) holding an electrical switching device has integrally formed, tab-shaped retaining devices (14, 15) which are used as latches for retention on a supporting rail (11), at least one (15) of which is arranged on a sprung, flexible retaining strap (16), originating from the housing, and can be deflected manually or by means of a tool into an open position in which the housing can be removed from the supporting rail. The deflectable retaining device is fitted with an operating handle which is accessible from the front side of the housing and which can also be used to support a tool. The retaining device can be deflected manually or by means of the said tool at least so far beyond the required open position, without damage, that it or its retaining strap (16) strikes a stop (17) which is used to protect this retaining strap against overexpansion. In this way, damage or even breaking of the retaining device and its retaining strap are virtually excluded in correct operation. <IMAGE>

Eine eine elektrische Schaltvorrichtung aufnehmendes Isolierstoffgehäuse (10) weist angeformte, der rastenden Halterung auf einer Tragschiene (11) dienende, nasenförmige Halteorgane (14, 15) auf, von denen wenigstens eines (15) an einer vom Gehäuse ausgehenden, federnd biegbaren Haltelasche (16) angeordnet und manuell oder mittels eines Werkzeuges in eine Öffnungsstellung auslenkbar ist, in welcher das Gehäuse von der Tragschiene entfernbar ist. Das auslenkbare Halteorgan ist mit einer von der Frontseite des Gehäuses her zugänglichen Betätigungshandhabe ausgestattet, welche auch der Abstützung eines Werkzeuges dienen kann. Das Halteorgan ist manuell oder mittels des genannten Werkzeuges über die mindestens erforderliche Öffnungsstellung hinaus so weit beschädigungsfrei auslenkbar, bis es selbst oder seine Haltelasche (16) an einem als Überdehenungsschutz für diese Haltelasche dienenden Anschlag (17) anstößt. Hierdurch ist eine Beschädigung oder gar ein Abbrechen des Halteorgans bzw. seiner Haltelasche bei sachgerechter Bedienung praktisch ausgeschlossen.
