1. Supporting and clearing blade, which by means of one or a plurality of rearward elongations (projections or arms) is mounted at both sides of the chassis of an excavator for adjustment particularly about a horizontal pivot axis and between an upper rest position, lowered support positions and intermediate clearing positions, characterized in that - receiving means (18) mounted to the upper end of the blade (10) are provided for being detachably connected to connecting means (28, 64) forming a laterally extending hinge axis of a hinged bucket (50) or similar attachment, which together with the blade (10) as backwall forms a material handling container, by means of its own weight keeps closed said container, and for emptying said container can be moved about its hinge axis (84) by means of the excavator shovel (80).

Ein zur Standardausrüstung von Baggern gehörendes Stütz- und Räumschild (10) ist mit Anschlußmitteln für auswechselbare Anbauwerkzeuge zum Aufnehmen und Transportieren von Baumaterial einschließlich Schüttgut versehen. Am oberen Ende des Schildes sind Aufnahmen (18) befestigt, die mit zugeordneten Anschlußeinrichtungen ein Drehgelenk oder Scharnier bilden und insbesondere im Bereich des oberen Endes einer Klappschaufel (50), eines Klappkübels oder eines anderen Anbaugerätes durch Steckmittel lösbar miteinander verbunden sind. Das Anbaugerät wird durch sein Eigengewicht sowie durch das Gewicht des Transportgutes zwangsläufig am Schild anliegend gehalten. Durch Aufwärtsschwenkung des vorderen Endes der Schaufel oder des Kübels entsteht am Schild ein nach unten offener Entleerungsspalt.
