[origin: EP0273437A2] To make flowable suspensions of defined consistency by addition of pure liquid phase to flowable raw suspensions of unknown consistency at low cost in equipment and control, utilising technologically available parameters as control variables without separate determinations on the raw suspension, a defined quantity of raw suspension flows from a vessel (1) through a vertically arranged outflow pipe (2), superposed in time by a constant liquid-phase flow, into a receiver in such a way that the desired mixture is formed. Alternatively, the raw suspension of unknown consistency flows out of the vessel (1) through the vertically arranged outflow pipe (2) into the receiver (3) within a defined outflow time, the liquid phase being fed as a function of a differential volume DELTA V arising in the receiver (3) in relation to the outflow time of a standard volume VS. <IMAGE>
