Abstract (en)
There is described a composition able to liberate nitrogen gas during the manufacture of a cathode ray tube and in particular to control the release of this gas after its heating in the atmosphere. This composition comprises Fe4N, Ni and Al in the form of powders preferably in certain weight ratios. There is further described the preferred particle size distributions of the three components. There is further described a preferred form of capsule, for the release of nitrogen gas, containing said composition.
