The latter are connected by means of weft threads (10). A pattern thread (12) is laid in a weft-like manner and according to the particular pattern on one side of the basic knit (2). The pattern thread (12) is tied at least in portions to the basic knit (2) by means of at least one stitch wale consisting of an auxiliary warp thread (14).
