Verbinderanordnung mit einem Steckergehäuse (13) und einem Buchsengehäuse (11), insbesondere einem fest montierten Buchsengehäuse, von denen eines Steckkontaktelemente und das andere Buchsenkontaktelemente enthält, wobei an einem (11) der beiden Gehäuse mindestens eine senkrecht zur Steckrichtung verschiebbare Zahnstange (15, 51) angeordnet ist, die mit einem Ritzelbereicht (61) eines Betätigungsschwenkhebels (21) in Eingriff steht, der zwischen einer Offenstellung und einer Schließstellung um die Ritzelachse schwenkbar gelagert ist, die Zahnstange (15, 51) mit mindestens einer Kulissennut (23) versehen ist, die in einer zur Steckrichtung parallelen Ebene im wesentlichen schräg zu Steckrichtung verläuft und an der zum anderen Gehäuse (13) weisenden Seite der Zahnstange (15, 51) offen ist, und am anderen Gehäuse (13) mindestens ein Nockenvorsprung (29) vorgesehen ist, der im Zusammensteckzustand der beiden Gehäuse (11, 13) in die Kulissennut (23) eingreift.
