[origin: EP0274115A2] The novel floor and wall covering consists in its basic material essentially of natural resin and fillers based on minerals and argillaceous earths. Environmentally friendly aggregates are added as elasticisers and plasticisers. The natural resin is available as tree and/or root resin in a readily replenishable amount. Argillaceous earths and minerals can be taken from virtually unlimited resources. There is no harmful emission in manufacturing or using the covering. The covering is 100 % recyclable by melting to make new coverings. <IMAGE>
