Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0274344A1] In the set of paving elements, the longitudinal sides of all the paving elements (1...5) of a set each have two teeth (12) and the spacing (DL) between two tooth centres (Z) is the same for a set. Starting from a standard element (1) having a length (N) and a largest width (B) and a spacing A from the tooth centre (Z) to the outer edge, the spacings (A +/- 1S, 2S, ...nS) from the tooth centre to the outer edge of the elements within a set can be infinitely variable, S being any desired distance and the spacing between the two inner edges of the teeth (12) being at least N/2. The greatest width as well as the width of the paving elements within a set is variable. In the production of the elements, their dimensions can be chosen and varied in such a way that different dimensions of the mould box can be used. During the mechanical laying of the paving elements, the entire stack of paving elements, which is manufactured on a formed sheet, is seized by the laying machine, every second row is displaced by half the length (N/2) of the standard element (1) and the whole stack is laid at once. <IMAGE>
