Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0274452A2] - System for percussion of a compressed-gas cartridge, closed by a generally metallic cap, using a percussion device equipped with a tip of suitable shape, characterised in that it comprises: - a body (10) on which the cartridge (290) is screwed and which is equipped with an axial bore in which a rod (14) is housed, the tip (16) of said rod bearing on the cap (18) of this cartridge; - a control lever (30) of the percussion device, bearing on the end of the rod (14) or attached thereto, whose position makes it possible to check whether the cap (18) of the cartridge placed in the system is intact; - a mechanism using an intrinsic energy, such as a spring acting on the rod (14) or the control lever, such that: . the tip (16) is in permanent contact with the cap (18) of the cartridge, if any, the lever (30) then indicating that the system is in the standby position; and that: . as the tip (16) is no longer supported by a cap, the control lever (30) is in a position such that the system no longer appears to be in a standby position; - a device for stopping the rod (14) or the lever (30), which may be released, which cancels the pushing force of the gases released by the perforation of the cap (18) on the rod (14). <IMAGE>
