Abstract (en)
The handle (1) and the bristle bearer (2) of a toothbrush are connected to one another via a hinge (9). The axis (10a, 11a) of rotation of the hinge (9) forms an angle ( alpha ) with the longitudinal axis (1a) of the handle (1). In a first position of the bristle bearer (2), the brush surface (5) extends approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (1a) of the handle (1). If the bristle bearer (2) is rotated by 180 DEG , the brush surface (5) forms an angle with the longitudinal axis (1a) of the handle (1). The toothbrush can thus be changed over from a position for cleaning the front teeth to a position for cleaning the back teeth. <IMAGE>

Der Handgriff (1) und der Borstenträger (2) einer Zahnbürste sind über ein Drehgelenk (9) miteinander verbunden. Die Drehachse (10a, 11a) des Drehgelenkes (9) bildet mit der Längsachse (1a) des Handgriffes (1) einen Winkel (α). In einer ersten Stellung des Borstenträgers (2) verläuft die Bürstfläche (5) etwa parallel zur Längsachse (1a) des Handgriffes (1). Wird der Borstenträger (2) um 180° gedreht, so bildet die Bürstfläche (5) mit der Längsachse (1a) des Handgriffes (1) einen Winkel. Die Zahnbürste kann somit von einer Stellung zum Reinigen der Vorderzähne in eine Stellung zum Reinigen der Hinterzähne umgestellt werden.
