In an operating arrangement for a telecommunications unit having a plurality of modes, particularly for a radio set with a cassette player, a plurality of keys being provided with a plurality of functions associated with the modes, characters are applied onto rotatable discs which are associated with the keys, the characters relating to the functions of the respective key. The discs are coupled to a switching element which switches the functions of the keys, and a cover plate with sight glasses is provided which releases the characters of the respectively selected function. A key is preferably produced as one piece and on the same axis as the associated rotatable disc. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Bedienanordnung für ein nachrichtentechnisches Gerät mit mehreren Betriebsarten, insbesondere für einen Radioempfänger mit Kassettentonbandgerät, wobei mehrere Tasten mit mehreren den Betriebsarten zugeordneten Funktionen vorgesehen sind, sind auf drehbaren Scheiben, die den Tasten zugeordnet sind, Zeichen aufgebracht, welche die Funktionen der jeweiligen Taste betreffen. Die Scheiben sind mit einem die Funktionen der Tasten umschaltenen Umschaltelement gekoppelt, und eine Deckplatte mit Sichtfenstern ist vorgesehen, welche die Zeichen der jeweils eingestellten Funktion freigeben. Vorzugsweise ist jeweils eine Taste mit der ihr zugeordneten drehbaren Scheibe einstückig und gleichachsig hergestellt.
