Process and grinding-type device for processing vital products (1) by means of at least two operating components (8) arranged in a housing (7), cooperating essentially on the front face and of which one is directly driven. The use of grinding-type equipment has, as a result of the product-oriented treatment of a very wide range of goods (1) led to a large amount of specialized equipment. According to the invention the product (1) is cold-processed at a high processing speed (2, 8) with only a short effective processing zone (3, 4, 5) thus enabling a high quality product to be obtained. The grinding-type device (6) is a high performance unit that can be modified in a particularly easy manner depending on the specific purpose, in order to produce, by means of a single device (6) with interchangeable components (8), a multi-purpose type grinder which is highly versatile. Said device is characterized in that its housing (7) opens and closes easily, in that it contains operating components (8) which can be adjusted (11, 12, 13, 14, 108) and can be interchanged according to the product (1) by means of coupling elements (16), guide components (17) to separate the product parts treated, feed components (15, 18), as well as components for conveying (2) and discharging (19, 20) the product, and at least one drive system (9).

Verfahren und mühlenartige Vorrichtung (6) zur Behandlung von Gütern (1) des Lebensbedarfes mittels wenigstens zwei in einem Vorrichtungsgehäuse (7) angeordneten, im wesentlichen stirnseitig zusammenarbeitenden Arbeitsorganen (8), von denen eines direkt angetrieben ist. Der Einsatz von mühlenartigen Apparate hat zufolge der produktorientieren Behandlung der verschiedensten Güter (1) zu einer Vielzahl von Sonderapparaten geführt. Verfahrensgemäss wird nach der Erfindung das Gut (1) mit grosser Behandlungsgeschwindigkeit (2,8) bei nur kurzer Behandlungseinwirkung (3,4,5) kalt behandelt und dadurch eine hohe Güte des Fertigproduktes erreicht. Die mühlenartige Vorrichtung (6) nach der Erfindung betrifft eine hochleistungsfähige Vorrichtung, die in besonders einfacher Weise dem jeweiligen Verwendungszweck entsprechend modifizierbar ist, um mit Hilfe nur einer Vorrichtung (6) samt austauschbaren Vorrichtungsorganen (8) eine möglichst vielseitig einsetzbare mühlenartige Mehrzweckvorrichtung zu schaffen. Die erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung zeichnet sich lösungsgemäss durch eine leichte öffen- bzw. schliessbarkeit ihres Vorrichtungsgehäsues (7) aus, das zur Behandlung des jeweiligen Gutes (1) justierbare (11,12,13,14,108), mittels Kupplungselemente (16) austauschbare Arbeitsorgan (8) je nach Gut (1) Leitorgane (17) zum Separieren von behandelten Gutteilen, Gutzufuhr- (15,18) und förder (2) sowie Abfuhrorgane (19,20) enthält und wenigstens einen Vorrichtungsantrieb (9) aufweist.
