Abstract (en)
The connector comprises an elementary connector body (1) comprising two parallel lateral walls (10, 11) delimiting a housing (12) and a contact part (2) having two branches (20, 21) and having a circular-arc portion (22) centred with respect to a direction ( DELTA ) orthogonal to the elementary connector body (1). It is also formed from a connection lever (3) rotatably mounted in the housing (12) between two parallel lateral walls, the lever (3) comprising a circular-arc slot (30) capable of being engaged with or disengaged from the circular-arc portion (22) of the contact part during the rotational movement and a blind hole (31) bringing the slot into communication with the outside. In the closed position the lever (3) enables the cable (C) to be wedged between the two branches (20, 21) of the contact part in order to produce an electrical contact by insulation displacement. Application to single-conductor or multi-conductor connectors or to the production of terminal blocks having a high degree of insulation in the field of high current applications. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un connecteur par déplacement d'isolant pour câble monoconducteur. Le connecteur comprend un corps de connecteur élémentaire(1) comprenant deuxparoi latérales (10, 11) parallèles délimitant un logement (12) et une pièce de contact (2) à deux branches (20,21) présentant une partie en arc de cercle (22) centrée par rapport à une direction (Δ) orthogonale au corps de connecteur élémentaire (1). Il est également formé d'un levier de connexion (3) monté à rotation dans le logement (12) entre deux parois latérales parallèles, le levier (3) comportant une fente en arc de cercle (30) susceptible d'être engagée ou dégagée de la partie en arc de cercle (22) de la pièce de contact au cours du mouvement de rotation et un trou borgne (31) mettant en communication la fente avec l'extérieur. Le levier (3) permet en position fermée le coincement du câble (C) entre les deux branches (20,21) de la pièce de contact pour la réalisation d'un contact électrique par déplacement d'isolant. Application à la réalisation de connecteurs monoconducteurs ou pluri-conducteurs ou à la réalisation de borniers à haut degré d'isolement dans la technique des courants forts.
