An indicator light, which is preferably to be inserted into materials such as concrete or the like and consists of a plurality of illuminating elements (1), is constructed overall in the shape of a string, for the purpose of which neighbouring illuminating elements (1) are connected to one another by means of electrically insulated flexible leads (2). Eine vorzugsweise in Baustoffe wie Beton oder dgl. einzulassende, aus mehreren Leuchtelementen (1) bestehende Anzeigelampe ist insgesamt schnurförmig ausgebildet, wozu benachbarte Leuchtelemente (1) mittels elektrisch isolierten, flexiblen Leitungen (2) miteinander verbunden sind. Ein Mantel (3) aus elektrisch isolierendem Material umschließt jedes Leuchtelement (1) mit Ausnahme dessen Oberseite und dessen oberen Umfangsbereich.
