[origin: US4852828A] The device of the invention provides for the substantially constant unfolding of unfoldable fins on a guided missile without damaging the bearing structure or the fin itself. The device comprises a deformation part placed around a bearing neck that is joined to the fin. Means are used to convert the rotational kinetic energy due to the unfolding of the fin into translational energy. These means comprise, in particular, a compression ring which is displaced and compresses the deformation part in conjunction with the rotation of the bearing neck due to the unfolding of the fin. The invention can be used in missiles, self-propelled rockets and similar devices.

Le dispositif selon l'invention permet; sur un projectile guidé, le déploiement sensiblement constant d'aile déployable sans détérioration de la structure porteuse ou de l'aile elle-même. Le dispositif comprend une pièce de déformation (5) placée autour d'un tourillon (1) solidaire de l'aile. On utilise des moyens pour transmettre l'énergie cinétique de rotation due au déploiement de l'aile en énergie de translation. Ces moyens comprennent particulièrement une bague de compression (4) qui se translate et comprime la pièce de déformation conjointement à la rotation du tourillon (1) due au déploiement de l'aile (6). L'invention peut être employée sur des missiles, des roquettes autopropulsés et des engins similaires.
