Abstract (en)

[origin: JPS6420807A] PURPOSE: To prevent a clasp from slipping out of a chain even when the clasp suddenly opens by arranging two projections turned to a central opening on the inside of the snap connecting side and the hinge side in an upper side part of an accessory clasp, and forming a tail end ring of a necklace in a specific dimension. CONSTITUTION: An accessory clasp 1 is divided into an upper side part 2 and a lower side part 3, and one side is connected by a hinger 4, and the opposite side is connected by a snap connector 5, mutually. Projections 6 and 6' turned to a central opening are arranged on the inside of the snap connecting side and the hinge side in an upper side part 2 of the clasp 1. A tail end ring 7 of a necklace is also formed in a dimension so that its inside diameter D becomes larger than a thickness of the clasp 1 and smaller than the sum of a thickness of the clasp 1 and a height of the projections 6 and 6', and the tail end ring 7 is made arrangeable on the upper side part 2 or is made releasable from there by going over the projections only by placing it in an opening position of the clasp 1. As a result, even if the clasp suddenly opens at installing time, the clasp is prevented from slipping out of a chain.
