[origin: WO8800920A1] Device for stacking folded printed items fed between two rolls (7) with a vertical axis, in which an additional roll (8) with a vertical axis is located downstream of these two rolls enabling the insertion of a predetermined number of printed products into one of two positioning systems (11) by which said items are relocated in a horizontal position; downstream of each positioning system (11) is arranged a collection basket (14, 15) provided with a fork (14', 15') movable upwards and downwards, with which the pile (S) formed in the collection tray is lowered onto a table on an air cushion (18), on which table the pile is made to slide against the longitudinal axis of the device up to a central fork (19), enabling the pile or piles to be raised in order to slide underneath a new pile providing a movement through 180 DEG .
