Abstract (en)
1. Continuous steel casting chill mould with two oppositely arranged cooled wide side walls (1, 2) and with narrow side walls (3, 4) adjustably arranged with play for movement between the wide side walls (1, 2), wherein a one-part narrow side wall (3, 4) is pivotably arranged at a spacer plate (5, 6), which is displaceable for format adjustment and clamped between the wide side walls (1, 2), characterised thereby, that the narrow side wall (3, 4) is articulated at the spacer plate (5, 6) at the entry side and resiliently settable against the strand underneath the articulation (13).
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Stahlstranggießkokille mit zwei gegenüberliegend angeordneten, gekühlten Breitseitenwänden und zwischen diesen mit Bewegungsspiel verstellbar angeordneten Schmalseitenwänden ist die Schmalseitenwand an einer zwischen den Breitseitenwänden geklemmten und zur Formateinstellung verschiebbaren Distanzplatte schwenkbar angeordnet. Zur Erzielung einer verzögerungsfreien, von Reibungskräften unbeeniflußten Konizitätsanpassung der Schmalseitenwand 3,4 an die tatsächliche Strangschrumpfung ist die Schmalseiten wand (3, 4) an der Eingießseite an der Distanzplatte (5, 6) angelenkt und unterhalb der Anlenkung (13) federnd gegen den Strang anstellbar.
